All Sales Are Final

All payments made to C'est Si Bon Bakery are final and non-refundable. We begin planning, sourcing ingredients, and preparing your order as soon as it's confirmed.

Store Credit

Cancellations made 7 or more days before your scheduled pickup or delivery date may be eligible for partial store credit.

  • Store credit is partial. Amount depends on how much preparation has already begun
  • Cancellations with fewer than 7 days' notice are not eligible for store credit

Order Changes
How and when to request modifications to your order.

⏰ The 7-Day Rule

All change requests must be submitted at least 7 days before your scheduled pickup or delivery date. This gives our team time to adjust planning without disrupting production already in progress.

Within 7 Days?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate changes for orders within 7 days of pickup or delivery. Production planning, ingredient sourcing, and preparation may already be underway.

We appreciate your understanding. Every order gets our full attention from day one!

Rush Orders

Orders placed with fewer than 7 days' notice are considered rush orders and may be subject to a rush fee of 10% or more, depending on the complexity and timing of the request. Rush availability is not guaranteed, so please call to confirm before placing.

Please Inspect Your Order Before You Leave

All customers (or their representatives) are responsible for inspecting their order at the time of pickup. This includes design accuracy, color, spelling, and overall appearance.

Once an order has been picked up or delivered, we are unable to accommodate concerns about design elements or appearance. If you notice a concern with flavor or sizing, please bring that to our attention. We're always happy to address those!

Third-Party Pickups

For third-party pickups (friends, family, drivers, or delivery services), please ensure your representative reviews and approves the order with our team before leaving. We're unable to address design concerns after the order has left our shop.

  • We recommend sending them photos of what to expect, or have them share photos with you before they leave

Customer-Supplied Items

Providing toppers, toys, flowers, ribbon, or any other custom items for your order? Please drop them off at least 24 hours before your pickup or delivery date.

This gives our decorators enough time to thoughtfully and safely incorporate your items into the design.

Transport & Storage
How to get your cake home safely and keep it looking perfect.

Transporting Your Cake

  • Place the box on a flat, stable surface (car floor or trunk is ideal)
  • Avoid abrupt braking, sharp turns, or sudden acceleration
  • Don't stack anything on top of the box
  • C'est Si Bon Bakery is not responsible for any damage that occurs during transit

Temperature & Storage

  • Keep your cake at or below 72°F (room temperature or cooler)
  • Warmer temps can cause icing to soften and decorations to droop or melt
  • Avoid direct sunlight, heat vents, and warm cars
  • We are not liable for damage caused by temperature fluctuations after pickup

Wedding Cake Deliveries

For wedding cake deliveries, your cake will be transported in the trunk of our delivery vehicle. This ensures maximum stability on the way to your venue. Our team takes every precaution to make sure it arrives exactly as intended. 🎉

Design & Reference Images
How we bring your vision to life, and where artistic interpretation comes in.

Reference Images = Inspiration

Any images you share (including photos of cakes we've made before) are used as creative direction and inspiration, not as exact blueprints. Our decorators will capture your theme, vibe, and color palette while crafting something original and achievable by hand.

Color Matching

We will always do our best to match your colors! That said, exact color matching isn't guaranteed. Cake materials and food-safe coloring don't reproduce colors exactly, and every screen, ours, yours, and the device a reference image was viewed on, displays color a little differently.

Because of this, the colors in a reference image or on a screen may not perfectly match your finished cake. Our decorators put real care into getting as close as possible, and we promise to do everything we can to make your cake look absolutely amazing. ✨

A Note on AI-Generated Reference Images

We love seeing your inspiration, but AI-generated cake images often depict designs that are not physically possible, food-safe, or achievable using real cake, icing, and hand-crafted decorations.

Because of this, we do not attempt to recreate AI-generated designs. If you share an AI image as inspiration, our decorators will use it to understand your general theme, colors, and concept, then adapt it into something that's realistic, structurally sound, and beautifully handcrafted.

In particular: AI-generated figurines, impossible textures, floating elements, and ultra-detailed structures often can't be replicated using fondant, gum paste, buttercream, or other edible materials. We'll always do our best to honor the spirit of your vision! ✨

Metallic Decorations

Metallic accents (gold leaf, luster dust, metallic sprays) are classified by the U.S. FDA as inedible and are used for decorative purposes only. In some countries they may be classified as food items, but not in the U.S. Please make sure your guests know before they dig in!

Our decorators reserve the right to make necessary modifications to design elements (including colors, placement, sizing, and font styles) to achieve the best possible final result. These changes are always made in service of your design, never against it.

Returns, Refunds & Order Issues
How we handle concerns about a completed order.

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery so we can review the situation.

What We May Ask For

To help us evaluate any concerns, we may request:

  • Clear photographs of the product and any issue(s)
  • The return of any remaining product for inspection, when reasonably possible

How Resolutions Work

Refunds, replacements, repairs, or store credit are provided at the sole discretion of C'est Si Bon Bakery after reviewing the circumstances.

If the issue is determined to be the result of a bakery error, we'll work with you on an appropriate resolution. Depending on the nature of the issue, returning the product may not be required.

No Refunds or Credits Will Be Issued For

  • Products that have been mostly or completely consumed
  • Damage occurring after pickup or delivery due to improper handling, transportation, storage, or environmental conditions
  • Design, color, or artistic variations that are consistent with the approved order and the handmade nature of our products
  • Orders that were accepted at pickup or delivery without any reported concerns
